Dear Grewal Family,
We hold you in our thoughts and prayers as you are experiencing the unimaginable loss of Sukhpreet. He will be missed dearly by all of the friends and family that were so fortunate to be a part of his life, and his memory will be treasured. We share the overwhelming pain of this senseless event with you, as we have just lost our precious 20 year old Ajit in a tragic car accident also. You are all in our hearts.

I only came to know you from the distance, your mellow demeanor and easy going attitude left a lasting impression on me. It was only weeks before the tragic day that we were debating whether you should come with me for a run or you should do your weight training. I will always remember you as a young pup with pumped chest. I hope you are happy and safe where ever you are. We will never forget you.

To the Grewal Family,
I was one of the principals Su had when he was at Los Alamitos. He was a bright, responsible, and respectful young man. It was clear as a 5th grader that he had such a peaceful soul. I am so very sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

To those who remain, I pray that you are comforted by the hands of God during this time. The memory of Su, and the effect he still carries does not last one day, one month, or one year, but a lifetime...until the time you are reunited with him. I hope that on that day, you will all be smiling, and rejoicing jubilantly as if nothing ever happened, just like old times. I remember Su briefly, but indelibly nonetheless, for he had that effect on me. He always smiled, was happy, and his optimism was contagious. It is not coincidence that when thinking of him I smile, because it is never important how one dies, but how one lived. He did more in his short time than many a human being can aspire to do in a lifetime, myself included. And no matter how much we all loved Su, and no matter how much we all want him back here with us, it seems like God wanted him more. It was a privilege to know you Su - your memory shall exist forever! In times of grief, we must find the strength to journey forward, to a better tomorrow, and with the same spirit you seemed to invoke with every action. You are, to me, the nicest friend any one could ever have. Rest in Peace.

We are all very sorry for your loss. My parents were able to come to the funeral and talked about how many lives Sukhpreet had touched.His smile is most certainly contagious and we are all very saddened by this tragedy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our 16 year old nephew in a car accident almost four years ago and although you do find the strength to carry on, not a day goes by that we don't think of him and miss him. God bless your family and give you all the strength to heal from this tragedy.

Words can not begin to describe how sad we feel about your loss. I remember Sukhpreet when I first came to California with Anup and I fondly remember him as a little boy playing with his cousins. Over the years, as we would visit and most recently at the family weddings in Victoria, I was impressed to see how tall and handsome Sukhpreet had become. He had an amazing smile and he was very sweet. My heart goes out to All of you in California. May Sukhpreet's soul be one with God and he be at peace. He will always be remembered by many in Victoria, British Columbia.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Sukhpreet's tragic accident. I remember him best as a student in my 1st grade class. He was a smart, thoughtful, handsome boy with the most incredible smile. Although he was with us for only a short time, he touched many hearts. I feel lucky to have known Sukhpreet. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Su, our whole family is so incredibly sad to know that on this life here on earth we will not see your amazing smile or your contagious, positive, larger than life personality walk through our door again. You were like a son to Steve and I and a brother to Jacob, Joey, and Nick. We will NEVER forget you and your memoy will live on FOREVER in our hearts and in our home!!

There is nothing in life more painful than losing a loved one. The love is there forever though. We never really lose them, only from the physical plane because where love exists there can be no loss. When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel that you know.
