I was part of the Lewis and Clark overseas study trip to Denmark, and always enjoyed Sue as a teammate. Her infectious joy and enthusiasm was a bright spot in every day.

I will truly miss Sue and am so grateful for her mentorship over the past 9 or so years that I worked with her. She very clearly valued teaching and loved her work, and I was fortunate enough that she was so willing to slow down and take the time to sit with me and grapple with complex questions. I always left her office with a renewed sense of confidence and excitement for the work we were doing. My deepest condolences to her family and all of those she touched.

It's been 30+ years but I still recall fondly our Stanford GSE days together and Sue and Steve's friendship and support as Linda and I settled into our new life in California. My heartfelt condolences to Steve and the family.

What a sad surprise to find Sue's photo on the SJ Merc obituary page but thank you for letting us know. so we can be there Saturday.
It was joy to share a year of dinner groups - Susan's intelligence, wit and kindness made every one of those so special.
It was an honor to visit with her at the start of the C journey, just prayed for a different result.
We'll see you, Steve and family, on Saturday, albeit with heavy hearts.
God's Peace,
Valerie and Tom

Sue was a truly wonderful lady and a lot of fun to know. I enjoyed working with her on several church committees. She had invaluable gifts to share.
Just in the last few weeks she had volunteered to make meals for others In church who were ill. We had recently bonded over the joy of grandparenting. She was so enthusiastic for that part of her life and so
kindly interested in sharing my joy. we will truly miss her presence at church. our sympathies to the Bryson and Walt families.

How grateful I am to have had the chance to work so closely with Susan on the Parish Profile Committee when we were searching for a new rector. She and I developed a very special bond, being the only "ladies" on the committee. Her "forthrightness" and sense of humor, her organizational skills and brainstorming abilities were such an asset to the whole. She and I developed a mutual respect for one another that no passing could ever take away. May she rest in peace and may all the family be uplifted by her joy for life and family and her ability to embrace any situation to the max. I will miss her and her energy very much.

Dear Brysons,
I want to express my deep sadness, and condolonces to all of you at Sue's passing. When I heard the news, I felt as if I'd been struck! We had just worked together on the coffee hour two weeks earlier, and as usual, she had put out a wonderful table of treats, including cherry chocolate brownies in honor of G. Washington. People would always ask when she was going to do the coffee hour again, so they could be sure not to miss it. She must have felt ill, but she put on a smile and showed her usual hospitality. I think all of us who were there will treasure our last chance to be with her. The church will miss her brilliant talent for data analysis, exemplified in the detailed parish surveys she devised that have guided our discernment process. Hugs to you all.

I am heartbroken about losing my friend, Sue. She was a great spouse and mother, a faithful member of the St Jude's community, and a sensitive, caring friend. My heartfelt condolences go out to Stephen, Kevin, Laura, and all the other members of the Bryson family. We collectively stand with you in feeling the loss of her presence.

We will miss Susan's expertise in statistics and in solving the many problems that we brought to her. We will also miss her as a colleague and a friend. She gave so much of herself particularly toward the end. She was patient and helpful particularly to the very youngest of our team and always followed their careers and lives with interest.
