Thomas Post Obituary

Thomas "Tom" Post
Jan. 6. 1955-Feb. 1, 2016
Santa Rosa, CA
Tom passed away Feb. 1, 2016, leaving us too soon. He attended Gunn High School and Foothill College, both in Palo Alto, but lived most of his life in Santa Rosa. He had just retired from a 39-year career as a carpenter, which began in 1976 with Local 1280 in Mountain View.
Tom was part of the Bay Area Mountain Rescue Team for four years in the 1970s. He loved boating and the SF Giants, with 3rd base seats at Candlestick for 17 years.
Tom is survived by his wife Terri, siblings Greg Post, Janet Donner and Diane Steele, many nephews and nieces and many, many friends and their families. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Carpenters Local 751 Union Hall, 1706 Corby Avenue, Santa Rosa, Saturday, April 2, at 3:00. Formal "Tom" attire requested.

So very sad. One of the best humans I've ever known. The world is a darker place. Sending love to Terri and family.
