I was a schoolmate of Victor since the day he and his family moved into the Almaden area. I was also their paperboy. We played football together and my folk's house was just a short distance from theirs. I learned of his cancer battle when I made an untimely phone call invitation in the summer of 2013. For that I am sorry and send my deepest condolences and sympathies to the family. All of my memories of Vic are great. Hopefully since then you have found some peace through your relationship with Christ and from the support that comes from family members and close friends.

To Anne and Paul and their families:
Sending sincere and heartfelt condolences from a friend and former classmate of Connie's at Tech High.
So shocked and saddened by Connie's and Victor's passing.
Neither I nor my family will ever forget any of you from the summer of 1969 at your grandparents' summer home on the lake in Galway, New York. It's hard to believe that 45 years have gone by. It seems like only yesterday that we were visiting the Howe Caverns and touring New York State with your mother and several friends from school.
Best wishes always.
Sincerely,

November 29, 2013

As neighbors and former Scouts, our family will miss Vic. He gave so much of his time and effort to the Boy Scouts and was well respected and liked by all. I'll always think of Vic as the best example of selflessness when it came to helping our younger generation.

Vic was my son's Scoutmaster for many years until his illness felled him. He was a passionate and enthusiastic man, who loved his family, loved Scouts, and was a strong, hugely positive influence on my son and many others. He made a difference, and will be missed.
