Victoria Hong Obituary
Resident of San Francisco
Sept. 8, 1943 - Feb. 5, 2012
Victoria "Vicki" Young Hong died unexpectedly in Reno, NV with her loving husband and friends at her side. She is survived by Gary her husband of 51 years; sons, Doug, Dennis, and Russell; brother, Ronald S. Young DDS; sister in law Ivy; nephew Mark; sister in law Shirley K. Fong; niece Lauren and nephew Aaron.
Born in San Francisco, CA the daughter of George & Eva Young, Vicki attended Lowell HS, De Anza College, and San Jose State University earning a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition.
In 1969 Vicki and the family moved to San Jose to manage their property the Edgewater Lodge in Santa Clara for 20 years. Vicki went on to join United Airlines as a customer services representative for 13 years.

Our family referred to Vicki as "the nice lady." That just about sums it up how we saw her, very sweet, caring, humble, and fun. Truly a nice lady that will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Gary and the rest of the family.

Read the sad news of Vicki's passing. We can never forget how nice the Hong fanily was to our son (Ken Wong) when he was chosen to play B-Ball in China many years ago. She sparkled with life and we all will miss her. In deepest sympathy - The Walter Wong Family - San Jose
