William Edward Brewer Jr.
1928 - 2017
Resident of Cupertino
William Edward Brewer Jr., 88 years of age, and a resident of Cupertino CA, passed away peacefully on the first day of spring, Monday March 20, 2017, at his home. "William", "Bill", or "Ed" Brewer was born in Marrowbone Creek, WV. He enlisted into the U.S. Marines just as his older brothers had. He retired at age 62 with 38 years' of service with the Southern Pacific Railroad. He NEVER ran out of stories of about his life on the railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Brewer Sr. and Alice Evans Brewer and four of his five siblings.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Sue Cogar Brewer, his children: Terria Brewer, Gleena (Russell) Trimmer, Coleen Saiz, Sanford Wayne (Rhonda) Brewer, Tina Ortiz, and Douglas Edward Brewer (Loan), his grandchildren: Kimberly Clark Trimmer, Michelle Saiz, Nichole Ortiz, Amber (Gregory Nance), Ricky Ortiz Jr., Anthony Edward Brewer and 5 great-grandchildren. His brother, Ernest Luther Brewer of Gibraltar, Michigan, age 93 survives him.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Chapel Service Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 10:00A.M with Visitation and Reception following until 1:00P.M at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale. Entombment will follow at 2:00P.M at Skylawn Memorial Park, CA-92 & Skyline Blvd, San Mateo.

So sorry for the loss of my dear cousin Ed,. He was someone who loved his relatives and family. I truly enjoyed our visits even if not as often Because of the distance. I wish I.
