William McGinnis Obituary

Resident of Almaden Valley, San Jose, California
Bill passed away at the age of 87 from COVID-19. He was born in Caledonia, MN, the 8th of 9 children. Bill married his high school sweetheart, served in the Navy and had a successful career at IBM for 37 years. Bill was a devoted family man, a member of the Knights of Columbus and he loved sports. Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years, Darlene, his four children: Daniel (Houston, TX), Timothy (Applegate, CA), Peggy (Reedsport, OR) and Trish (San Jose, CA), 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private funeral mass was held at Holy Spirit Church. We plan to have a more inclusive celebration of Bill's life in the future.
