Connie LeVonne Dertinger
Connie L. Dertinger 71, of Gilbert, Minn., passed away peacefully at her home on Monday October 7, 2024.
Connie was born on April 5, 1953, in Virginia Minn., to Maurice and LeVonne (Wiirre) Dertinger, Connie resided on the Iron Range most of her life. She and the love of her life Rick Huntoon enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed going on side-by side rides, gardening and spending time at home with Rick and her kitten "Goldie" For many years Connie did significant work with Range Riders and the Annual Mushball tournaments in Gilbert. She loved being sociable and on the go until physical limitations slowed her down.
Connie will be dearly missed by her family and friends, remembering all the Love, hugs and kisses she gave everyone.
Connie is survived by her significant other, Rick Huntoon (Gilbert Minn.) Mother LeVonne Dertinger (Gilbert, Minn.) Brothers Steve Dertinger (Gilbert Minn.) Greg (Kim) Dertinger (Gilbert Minn.) Sister Kathy (Kyle) Ridlon (Wright Minn.) Son Cole Huntoon (Makinen). Grandchildren Danika, Morgan, Jaelee, Owen, Ryder, Hudson, numerous nieces and nephews as well as her two God Children Gabriella and Christian.
She was preceded in death by her Father Maurice Dertinger, Beloved Son Nicholas, Sister in-law Barb, Grandparents Tynne and Jaffett Wirre and Raymond and Laura Dertinger.
Celebration of Life will be on November 2, 2024, at the Gilbert VFW from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
