Deanna D. Jackson

Deanna D. Jackson, 83, of Iron passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at Essentia Health – Virginia.

She was born on July 30, 1942, in Crystal Falls, Mich., to Henry and Irene (Gripintrog) Duchaine and had been a long time area resident.

On June 13, 1959 she married Benjamin E. Jackson in Virginia, and was employed at Woodline Mfg. .

Survivors include one son, Ben Jackson of Iron; three grandchildren, Zachary Syewart of Virginia, Kaylee (Fiance' Micah Christenson) Jackson of Rochester, Minn., and Jayden Jackson of Iron; one great-grandson, Oliver C.; and one sister, Donna (James) Pollack of Eveleth.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Irene Duchaine; husband Benjamin E. Jackson; one daughter, Diane Colleen Dickson; one grandson, Joshua Benjamin Stewart and seven siblings.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth with Rev. Fr. David Forsman as celebrant. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Eveleth Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Landmark Funeral Home in Virginia.
