Donna Lou Siebert

Donna Lou Siebert, age 79 of Virginia died Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in her home of natural causes.

She was born August 7, 1945 in Aitkin, MN the daughter of Richard and Ruby (Johnson) Gruhlke and grew up in Palisade, MN. Donna was a graduate of Aitkin High school and Bemidji State College. She married Ken Siebert on July 25,1964 in Palisade, MN, and the couple moved to the Iron Range shortly thereafter. They lived in Pike-Sandy, Cherry, and Virginia in their years here. Donna was employed by Western Auto as the toy shop manager for many years. She was a member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, the Pike-Sandy Women's Club, and later the Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia. Donna was an amazing quilter and an avid reader.

Donna is survived by sons: Thomas Siebert of Virginia, Paul (Cathy) Siebert of Forest Lake, Todd (Lori) Siebert of Hermantown, and Daniel (Kristin) Siebert of Virginia; Siblings: LeRoy Gruhlke of Cohasset, Roger (Beverly) Gruhlke of Burnsville, Susan (Dale) Anderson of Grand Rapids, Tom (Cindy) Gruhlke of Victoria, and Ray (Cheryl) Gruhlke of Oakdale; grandchildren: Matthew (Sydnie) Siebert, Tim (Erin) Siebert, Brandon (Ashley) Siebert, Derek (Alyssa) Siebert, Cody (Karen) Siebert, Beth (Ron) Schwiegart, and Melissa (Tony) Buccanero; great-grandchildren: Lucie, Easton, Stella, Jack, Reese, Otto, Bayne, Eike, and Luca; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ken, and brothers: Alan Gruhlke and Gordon Gruhlke.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia. Bill Bauman will officiate. A gathering time for Family and Friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place in the East Pike Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred.
