Eileen Candace Samuelson
Eileen Candace Samuelson, 77, of Aurora, died Friday, October 11, 2024, at Essentia Health-Northern Pines in Aurora.
Candy was born on April 19, 1947, to Charles and Virginia (Grain) Kane in Minneapolis. She grew up in Minneapolis and attended Central High School, graduating in the Class of 1965. She furthered her education at the Minneapolis Vocational College. Candy was united in marriage to John Samuelson on February 23, 1979. The couple moved to Aurora in 1980. She worked as an Office Manager alongside her husband at the Aurora Chiropractic Center up until her recent illness. Candy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, sewing, camping and fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. John W. Samuelson; three sons: Daniel (Blair) Samuelson, Christopher Samuelson and Andrew (Megan Butala) Samuelson; two grandchildren, Cree and Rhodes; sister, Catherine Kane; and brothers, Richard Kane and William (Lisa) Kane.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Kane; and her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Aurora.
Arrangements were by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.
