Ian Glavan Obituary

Ian Matthew Glavan

Ian Matthew Glavan, beloved son of Fred and Ann Glavan, was promoted to eternal glory on Monday April 22, 2024, the first day of Passover. He died peacefully at home in the adoring arms of his mother, father and sister Rachel.

He was an amazing young man who endured many hardships in his short life but never complained. He had a great sense of humor; he loved trains, traveling, and all kinds of music. He also loved spending time with his siblings.

He graduated from Northwestern High School in 2020 and had his first job at Dreamland Supper Club, like all his siblings.

He is survived by his parents; siblings: Rachel (Thad) Lintula, Mary (Will Waller) Glavan, Sara (John) Sampers, Fred (Darin) Glavan; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Celebration service will be held at the Mission Covenant Church in Poplar, Wis., on Monday, May 6. Visitation with family will be at 11 a.m. followed by the service at noon.

Funeral Arrangements are with Downs LeSage Funeral Home.
