James Arthur Holm
James Arthur Holm, 63, of Babbitt, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
He was born to Dale and Jane Holm on January 5, 1961, in Ely. Jim was a loving and caring person with a heart of gold. He was a Papa who enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren.
Despite his passing, he had laid the emotional foundations for his family to stay strong and continue on together in his absence.
Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dawn; children, Mike Holm of Chisholm, Benjamin Holm of Babbitt; grandchild, Sebastian Holm of El Paso, Texas; and siblings: Mary Stalcar of Eden Prairie, Gayle (Tom) Uren of Coon Rapids, Terry Holm of Babbitt, Mike (Susan) Holm of Savannah, Georgia, Carolyn Holm of Babbitt and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Holm.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hideaway Bar in Babbitt on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are with the Landmark Funeral Home in Virginia.
