Jerry Moscatelli
Jerry Moscatelli, age 70, of Chisholm, Minn., passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Jerry was born on April 5, 1954, in Hibbing, Minn., to Samuel and Lorraine Moscatelli. He graduated from Chisholm High School, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Cloud State University, and completed his Master's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
In 1980, he married the love of his life, Evy Erickson. Together they raised one child, Samuel Gerard Moscatelli, and shared 43 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Jerry was known for his humor, friendliness, and his generous heart. He was passionate about photography, teaching media arts, and storytelling. His greatest joy was his son Sam, of whom he was immensely proud.
Jerry is survived by his son, Samuel Moscatelli (Rachel Prost); brother, Jim Moscatelli (Bunnie); sister-in-law, Betty Moscatelli and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Evy; parents Samuel and Lorraine Moscatelli; his aunt Leona Carroll; and brother Samuel Moscatelli Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on May 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tom and Jerry's in Chisholm, Minn.
