Karen M. Skoog
Karen M. Skoog, age 84, of Hibbing, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, with family by her side.
Karen was born December 11, 1938, in Clinton, Minn., to George and Adair (Adolphson) VanHale.
Karen is survived by her children, Vickie Davis, Holly (Greg) Johnson, Eugene Skoog, Trina (Gary) Baumgardner, grandchildren, Alicia (Josh) Bird, Corey Davis, Scott (Tawnia) Johnson, Kelsey (Jason) Moore, Amanda (Riley) Snyder, John Skoog, Maria (Dylan) Skoog, Sam Baumgardner, and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Adair, daughter, Terri Jo, sister, Marlene Anderson and 3 infant sisters.
Karen's family would like to extend a special thank you to Fairview Range Hospice and Jane Plese for their care and loving support and to Kelly Johnson for her spiritual guidance, also to our friends that have reached out during this difficult time. Karen lived by wanting peace for all and if you can be anything in life "be kind."
