Kathleen Krog Obituary
Kathleen Ruth Krog, 87, was called home on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
She was born on July 15, 1937, to James and Ruth (Clark) Ferrell. She was a graduate of Chisholm High School, Class of 1955. She completed a course in cosmetology, then passed the state boards in 1957. She was later employed with the Virginia School District from 1972 through 1998. She was a volunteer in the local woman's cancer support group. She was also a member of Peace United Methodist Church.
On April 4, 1959, she wed Dale R. Krog. He preceded her in death as did their daughter, Patricia.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Greg) Heck of St. Paul; son, Robert D. Krog, Virginia; son-in-law, Robert Intihar, Makinen; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Myra (Gayle) Adams, James Ferrell Jr.; sister-in-law, Pat Krog; numerous nieces and nephews; and her friend and caregiver, Kim Sheehy.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, at Peace United Methodist Church in Virginia. A light lunch will follow.
