Margaret Jussila Obituary
Memorial service for Margaret G. Jussila, 86, of Hoyt Lakes, will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at United Methodist Church in Aurora. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place at a later date.
Margaret passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at Essentia Health – Virginia, Minnesota.
Margaret was born November 2, 1938, to Elmer and Ruth Mitchell and grew up in Fraser, Minnesota. Marge married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Jussila on June 16, 1956.
The couple enjoyed numerous trips together. Marge enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping and fishing. She was employed at Herberger's for 21 years. Marge enjoyed cooking and loved it best when the house was filled with sounds of laughter from family and friends.
Survivors include her children: Brian (Shannon) Jussila, Douglas Jussila and Ronelle (Jeffrey) Sheff; grandchildren: Brianne (Steve) Pellinen, Nicole (Kyle) Nguyen and Mariah Sheff; great grandchildren: Caleb and Cole Nguyen; brother-in-law, Dennis (Dianna) Jussila and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruth; husband, Ronald; siblings: Audrey Peden, Norma Hooper, Richard "Dick" Mitchell and Roberta Elo.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kathy, Jerry, Allison and Marla.
