Patricia Mavec Klemmer
Patricia Mavec Klemmer, 88, died January 29, 2024, peacefully to be with the angels at Urbana Place Brooklyn Park, Minn.
She was born May 29, 1935, to Joseph and Helen Mavec (Preglet).
She graduated from Eveleth High School class of 1953.
The eldest of six children, raised in Eveleth, Minn., Pat was the "matriarch"
She is remembered fondly by many as one who enjoyed dancing and especially meeting people in social settings
Pat enjoyed living in Eveleth, Duluth, St. Anthony and her final years at Urbana Place.
Her large Seraphim angel collection was her legacy to family and friends, distributing them to loved ones that fit their personality.
Pat was very proud of her two sons, who she successfully raised virtually on her own.
She loved her nieces and nephews, always keeping up with their activities and special events.
She is sadly missed by family and friends and her strong faith was a high point of her life and is now "walking in Stardust" with the angels up in heaven.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Linda Haus) Klemmer (Minneapolis, Minn.), George (Marie Oberle deceased) Klemmer (Minnetonka, Minn.); siblings, James (Marcia) Mavec (Olathe, Kan.), Tom (Josephine Lolicato) Mavec; (Queanbeyan NSW Australia), Judie (John) Haug (Andover, Minn.) and Peggy Mavec (Mora, Minn.)
Preceded in death by her infant son, John; husband, Floyd; brother, David (Jane) Mavec (Makinen, Minn.); and grandparents, Anton and Anna (Machek) Mavec.
Memorial services will be held at a later time with family and friends.
