Daniel Deen Obituary

Boise - Daniel Leslie Deen passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 86. He was born on January 15, 1939, to Thomas Laffayette and Maggie Amelia Deen and was one of thirteen siblings.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Judy Deen, who sadly passed away later that same day. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Michelle McCarrel; daughters Wendy Heavrin and Patricia Haight with her husband Steve; son Michael Deen; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His surviving siblings include sisters Rachel Kahus and her husband Kay, LaDonna Miner and her husband Ron, Katherine Betzold and her husband Jim, and Sandra Schaut and her husband Bob. He is also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Daniel had a deep love for his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing music in earlier years. Known for his exceptional pies-a talent he inherited from his mother-he brought joy to many through his cooking.

No services are planned at this time.
