Michael Murphy Obituary
Mike returned to Emmett where he married his high school sweetheart Robin Rogers. They had two children, Brian Murphy and Melissa Murphy. They spent much time enjoying the outdoors, hunting, camping and fishing together.
Mike worked for a few auto body companies, including Borks Auto Body with his childhood and lifelong friend Steve Bork. Later he worked for Mark Araki at Harold's Auto Body in Boise, Idaho where he stayed for 26 years as a manager and estimator.
Mike's one love was his Harley which he rode and traveled through at least eight states and Canada. He saw and went to many amazing places, including Sturgis with his best friends Melvin Handley and Steve Rogers.
He is survived by his mother Thera (Terry) B. Murphy, his son Brian Murphy, his daughter Melissa Murphy, his three grandchildren - Wesley Murphy, Ashton Prough and Lily Prough, his sister Tammie Murphy (Randy) Waters, his nephew Nicholas Waters, niece Sarah Waters (Jerry, Raemie, Gavin) Prough, his best friends (like brothers) Melvin Handley, Steve Rogers and Nick Petersen, and several cousins. He is proceeded in death by his father, Wesley (Pat) J. Murphy.
There will be no viewing or services. If you wish to make a donation, donate to a charity of your choice.
