Mildred Harlan Obituary
She grew up on the family farm in Emmett, moving to California in1955 to live and work and gave birth to her three children, Yolanda, Daniel and Jon
She married William (Bill) Harlan in May 1960 in Longview, WA. They blended their family to include Rick and David and lived in many areas of Oregon until 1970 when they moved to Emmett. They divorced in 1984. Bill passed away in 2005.
She and Buford Rolland (Boots) were companions until Boots passed away in 2015. Jeanette moved to Paul ID to be close to her daughter Loni and son Jon.
Jeanette (Jan) worked in food service at many nursing homes in the Emmett valley and worked at the hospital when it was Walter Knox.
Jan was loved by many. She lived life on her terms and passed away at the age of 89 years and 10 months at Highland Estates in Burley, ID.
She is survived by Yolanda (Loni), Statham and her husband Paul, Robert Daniel (Dan) and his wife Peggy(deceased) and Jon. She was the stepmother to Rick Harlan (deceased) and David Harlan (deceased). She is also survived by her granddaughters, Yolanda's daughters Pamela Jones and Marcie Lowry (Heath). Dan's daughters Mary Fisher and Tenille Harlan, Jons daughter Melissa Harlan.
She has 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter from Yolanda's girls
Dan has one grandson Isaac and one granddaughter Khiara, and 1 great granddaughter Vea.
She is also survived by great granddaughters, Samantha (Brady) Pitts, Zytheara Jorgenson, and one great grandson Dakota - Jons grandkids
Samantha has 2 children, Oliver and Elora,
Funeral services will be held at Potters Chapel on March 7th, 2026 at 10AM. Internment of ashes will follow with a luncheon at La Costa following.
