Randall Payne Obituary

Emmett - Randall Dale Payne, 62, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away on October 30, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield, Oregon on February 3, 1962 to Dhelma and Carl Payne.

Randy married in 1984 to Michelle Kurta and had two sons, Bryan and Steven.

Randy's career in the National Guard began in 1979. His commitment to service extended into his professional career as an electrical engineer in the railroad industry.

Randy remarried later in life to Lisa Bryant in 2019. They shared the joy of gardening and traveling together.

Randy's life was marked by his genuine, happy-go-lucky attitude, his strength during challenging times, including his battle with cancer, and his heartfelt love for his family and friends. His legacy will be remembered by all who knew him as one of kindness, resilience, and enduring positivity.

Randy is survived by his wife, Lisa Bryant Payne; his father, children, four grandchildren and family siblings. He was preceded in death by his mom, Dhelma King.

Memorial services were held December 1, 2024.

RIP Randy, we had some great times when you traveled to Nebraska to visit, and I would come to Idaho. Will always have fond memories of those times.
