Ronald Neisler Obituary

RONALD DALE NEISLER
1947 - 2015
Ronald Dale Neisler passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at a hospital in Boise, Idaho while surrounded by family. He was born to Alonso Rowan Neisler and Ilene Mae Jacob Neisler Pearson on November 25, 1947 in Flint, Michigan.
Ron grew up in Flint, Michigan and lived there until joining the United States Navy in 1966. After his service, Ron began traveling extensively across the U.S. before settling down with his wife, May Eng Neisler, and their two daughters, Alexis Lee Neisler and Veronica Mae Neisler, in Emmett, Idaho. Ron has two daughters, Caroline Kay Neisler Robert, and Colette Rene Neisler Palmer from his previous marriage to Linda Susan Johnston Neisler.
Ron's hobbies included American automobiles, particularly Turbo Buicks from the 1980s, firearms, reading, baseball, spending time with his family and talking with friends. He owned and operated Ron's Emmett Lube from 1999 until 2008, allowing him to enjoy two of his favorite pastimes: working with cars and interacting with people.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark Rowan Neisler. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, and brother, Martin Neisler.
A memorial service will be held at the Idaho State Veteran's Cemetery at a later date under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
