William Ray Elmore, 65, of Brookport, passed away at 6:11 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday , July 26, 2024, from at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home followed by a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life with Nate Hillebrand officiating.
William was a retired tow boat captain and served in the Army National Guard.
William is survived by his children, Melinda Anderson, Elaina Crowe (Steve), Delray Elmore (Betty), Jody Delao Scarbrough, Joseph Elmore, Evon Croft (Wes), and Mickey Elmore (Tamera); grandchildren, Ian Anderson, Benny Anderson, Olivia Owens, Toni Hinchy, Kayla Hinchy, Paul Hinchy, Joanna Hinchy, Preston Elmore, Ethan Scarbrough, Felicity Hodge, October Hodge, November Hodge, Milo Elmore, Aiden Presser, Karen Presser, Eli Croft, Mason Elmore, Brady Elmore, and Kendree Hobbs; several great grandchildren; sister, Sam; brothers, Jack, John, Joseph, and Jerry; several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William Ray and Jessie Mae (Harrington) Elmore; son, Willy Holderfield; grandson, William Elmore; sister, Janet.
