William "Shot" Jeffords, 81, of Bay Valley in Pope County, died at 9:17 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Baptist Health Paducah.
He was the son of Charles Owen and Nellie May (Parks) Jeffords.
A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Massac County Youth Fair Community Building, 4476 Korte Road, Metropolis, Illinois.
Military honors will be accorded at 11 A.M. by the Beggs Gurley VFW Post and the Metropolis American Legion Post. Following the military honors, a service will be conducted by Pastor Jerry Parr and Pastor Kevin Richerson.
A luncheon will follow. Meat and drinks will be furnished. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert to share.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
