Andrew Seto

Andrew Chu Non Seto, 82 years old, died peacefully and comfortably on Monday, July 14, 2014 at his residence in Ashland surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born in Canton, China on March 5, 1933 the son of the late Bo Seto and Guey Ho (Jue) Seto. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jane (Sue) Seto of Ashland. He is also survived by his son Mark Seto and his wife Carol and their children Jennifer and Andrew Seto all of Framingham; his daughter Andrea Doria and her husband Thomas and their son Nicholas all of Watertown and his son Donald Seto and his wife Karen and their sons Jayden and Evan all of Bellingham. Andrew had been a longtime resident of Wayland before retiring to Ashland several years ago. He and his wife Jane also wintered in Naples, Florida. He was a restaurateur and was the original owner of South Pacific Restaurant in Newton for over 50 years as well as Makaha Restaurant in Acton. Andrew was an avid gardener and an accomplished cook. He loved to spend time with his loving family. Visitations will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Services on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Community United Methodist Church, 5 Damon Street, Wayland. Private family interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland at the convenience of the family.
