Charles Duridas Obituary

Charles Duridas, 78, lifelong resident of Marlborough and Milford, died Sunday morning after a short battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Camille (Benedetto) Duridas to whom he was married for 53 years. He was the son of the late Chris and Sophia Duridas and was predeceased by 5 siblings. Charlie worked with his hands as a finish carpenter and worked alongside his wife for many years in the family business ventures. He shared his love of history, gardening, woodworking, reading, and sports with all who knew him and was a naturally gifted artist. Besides his wife he is survived by 3 daughters; Maria Pappas and her husband William of Bolton, Joanna Brunelle and her husband Paul of Hudson, Jennifer Vittum and her husband Dean of Marlborough, 1 sister; Jane Sabella of Marlborough, 14 grandchildren; Joseph, Evan and Alexander Pappas, Nicholas, Samuel, Cammie, Marcus, Ava, Quinn, and Janie Brunelle, Benedetto, Anastasia, Merideth and Ethan Vittum and many nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Matthias Church, Hemmenway St. Marlborough. There are no visiting hours. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contribution can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham MA 01701. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the William R.
