Christopher Lynch Obituary

Christopher John Lynch, age 50, a resident of Ash Street Group Home in Hopkinton and a former longtime resident of Framingham, entered into peace, Sunday January 22, 2012 at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham, with family by his side. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Gunvor "Gunny" (Bergishagen) Lynch of Framingham and the late John A. Lynch who died in 2009. Christopher was someone who taught all to be kind, patient and understanding of those with special needs. He loved his family, walks on Humarock Beach, drawing, listening to records, his bat and ball, ice cream and birthdays. With his laughter and sense of humor, he filled many lives with joy, and will be deeply missed by his family, and the many wonderful people who have cared for him through the years. In addition to his mother, Christopher is survived by his siblings Thomas J. Lynch and his wife Barbara of VA, Christina Ronder and her husband Richard of Newbury, Ellen Lynch of Wakefield, Karen Lynch and her husband Dana of WA, Kathy Holmes and her husband Jon of KY, Molly St. John and her husband Brian of Hull. Treasured uncle of Jenny, Erin, Sonika, Westin, Torie and Danielle, and great uncle of Bella and Frankie and the late Dennis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, January 28, at 10 AM followed by his memorial service at 10:30 AM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave) Framingham, which is wheelchair accessible. I will always remember and cherrish the many times my youngest brother-in-law, Christopher, blessed me with his contagious smile; lightened my heart; and helped me to notice and participate in the basic joys of life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Love is a rose in life's garden, thriving rain and in sun; sweet is memories, like petals. gently unfolding, one by one. From the promise of early beginnings, the tiniest seed to start. It grows to a bloom of great beauty, with radiance and joy at it's heart. It's gifts of sweet frangrance and color are blessings that any may share. "Love is a *Rose* in life's garden, and God, himself put it there. My brother was a gift to our family and me being in KY is so hard not to be present with my siblings and mom, I cherish and treasure the wonderful memories of my brother, how he could take a record and put the record player needle right on the beginning of song, everytime, "Wipe Out", he really liked that song, his detailed drawings, his bursting of laughter, so so many memories I will carry in my heart. I know he is "free now" and with my dad. God Bless my family Jonathan and I will be there in Spirit.Holding you all.Lovingly Kathy and Jonathan

Christopher was a blessed child. I never saw a brother who was so doted on by his sisters! His mom and dad loved him and showed that love every day in giving him the best life possible -- and a miraculously long life, at that.

Christopher pulled people together around him.
