David,
It's Mom. I can't believe you are gone. I'm so sad and I'm trying to be strong but I'm not there yet. I'm making a video of your pictures with music and reviewing your life is so sad and makes me cry. So many people have called and sent cards and been so supportive but I am so sad that I didn't get to say good by to you. My love has always been unconditional. I would have done anything to help you. I know how hard you worked to be happy and I am so proud of you. I'm proud of the kind of man you were, kind and caring and I'm proud of how much you loved Jake and Casey. Be at peace, my son. Just say good-night, not good-by. Love, Mom
