It is coming up on 9 yrs since you left this earth. People here in Richmond know the name Eddie Casey and all that you taught me. I wonder how many others you spent time with learned more than just how not to drink. I never understood a lot of your methods until I got older. I have found the meaning of the gift is in the giving now at 37.5 yrs sober .. you are still my inspiration ...Thank You from the bottom of my heart and I know you are still guiding us

To Ed's family, our deepest sympathies. Jackie, my wife, worked with Ed at the MARCAP unit and she said noone could cut to the chase with care and compassion like Ed could. I've known and respected Ed for over 25 years and always enjoyed crossing paths. Loved that guy so much one day at a time.

To Eddie: My great friend, spiritual advisor, and a man who never stopped giving. I will always live by "The gift is in the giving". It is by that principle that we receive tenfold. My heart aches that you are no longer with us but my heart dances with Joy knowing you are with your savior. Until we meet again I will always love and cherish all our talks, meals, meetings, and our true friendship. Rest in peace my friend. Love eternally, Sue Bowles

Mr. Casey, you were the most compassionate, caring individual I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It was in 1966 when I was hospitalized in traction for six weeks in my junior year in high school. Your smiling entrance into my ward every morning brought a smile to everyones face in the room. You surely are in the hands of God, for very few better men have lived on this earth. R.I.P. Mr. Casey
