Gabriele Pagliuca

NATICK Gabriele Pagliuca, 77, a longtime resident of Natick, died at Brigham & Womens Hospital in Boston on Dec. 2, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Elettra (Ardolino) Pagliuca, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Lacedonia, Italy, Province of Avellino, Mr. Pagliuca immigrated to the United States with his family in 1966, settling in Natick. He was employed for many years by Mt. St. Vincent in Wellesley with the Sisters of Charity. He was a very kind man who had a sharp wit, good humor and a fondness for gardening. A welcoming person, Mr. Pagliuca opened his heart and home to everyone and always loved to share good homemade food and wine with others. In addition to his wife, Mr. Pagliuca is survived by his loving daughters, Incoronata Pagliuca of Los Angeles and Antonietta Pagliuca and her husband, Sandeep Kalra, of Montclair, N.J.; his cherished granddaughter, Sofia Kalra; and his dear sisters, Anna Miscia and Lucia Mangino of Italy. He was the son of the late Domenico and Incoronata (Lentini) Pagliuca and brother of the late Gerardo Pagliuca. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at St. Patricks Church, Natick, Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery, Natick.
