Jacqueline A. Walsh

Jacqueline A. Walsh of Millis, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at the age of 72. She was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary E. (Gallagher) Walsh. A resident of Millis for the past 23 years, Jacqueline was born and raised in Waltham, later going to France where she studied French and Religious Studies. Prior to her retirement, she had been Purchasing Manager at Glynn Electronics for 30 years. Known for her generosity, Jacqueline was a loving and devoted sister and aunt to her many nieces and nephews as well as a caring and treasured friend to many. She treasured the time she spent at her Plymouth home at Priscilla Beach. Jacqueline found great comfort in her Catholic faith and will be fondly remembered and missed by her devoted family and many friends. Jacqueline was the dear sister of Thomas F. Walsh Jr. and his wife Mary of Marshfield and the late Mary E. Robinson; cherished aunt of David Robinson and his wife Marilyn of Holliston, George Robinson and his wife Gigi of Charleston SC, Tracy Bell and her husband Eric of Weston CT, Michael Robinson and his wife Helena of Holliston, Lawrence Walsh and his wife Angela of Long Island NY and David Walsh and his wife Bridie of Titusville FL. Grand aunt of Jessica, Emily, Michael, Andrew, Tomie, Rey, Stephen, Cristian and Kayla. Also survived by her loving friends, Ann Marie OHara of Millis, Bridget Sumner of Reading, Ellyn McGrath of Stamford CT and her treasured dog Beaux. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church 82 Exchange St. Millis Saturday Jan. 30, 2016 at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery Walpole. Visiting hours in the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home 90 Curve St. Millis will be Friday Jan. 29, 2016 from 4 to 8PM.
