I am so sad to hear about the loss of Jim. Jim sold our first house in 2000 and has kept in touch with us since. He was always so friendly and willing to help. I just saw him in Shaw's a month ago. I will miss bumping into him and talking with him. He was a great guy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I just learned of Jim's passing and my sympathies go out to Sally and her family for the loss of a truly good man. I've had the honor and privilege or working with Jim for many many years. He was a dear friend that always made me smile and laugh. A kind, honest man that would do anything for anyone in need. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace dear friend.

I learned a lot from Jim. It saddens me to learn of his passing. I will always remember him... Especially when we played "where in the world is Carmen San Diego? "

The first year that I worked for Jim at DEC, I stayed in Massachusetts to work vs going to my folks' place 500 miles away. When he found out I had no dinner plans, he invited me over to dinner with his family. That meant a great deal to me as a 19 YO kid; I remember that kindness at this time of every year...

My heart goes out to you for your deep loss you must be feeling for your beloved James. How sad to lose someone so loved and so needed. May you find comfort in prayer and in one another. (Jeremiah 29:12,13)

One day while I was walking to my job at the Maynard Co-op Jim Boothroyd stopped to give me a ride. He too was going to work there and we became great friends. We worked side by side, we cleaned the floors on Sundays, Jim taught me to fish, hunt, and appreciate the woods. We talked about everything that matters when you are growing up and need someone to bounce ideas off of. He was in my wedding party along with my five brothers. The years, careers, and geography have separated us, but Jim resides deeply in my heart forever. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
