Janice Lattuca Obituary

Janice H. Lattuca NATICK Janice H. (Parker) Lattuca, 61, of Natick, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of Russell L. Lattuca, married for 33 years. Born in Natick and a resident for 55 years, she was the daughter of Walter G. and Helen D. (Shea) Parker of Natick. Mrs. Lattuca was an administrative secretary for more than 30 years, working at Babson College, Regis College and Dana Hall School. She attended St. Patrick Parochial School in Natick, graduated from Marian High School, Class of 1965 and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Janice was an avid reader, practiced yoga, and enjoyed travel, and movies taking a course at the University of New Hampshire in film history. She was a member of the Best Friend Animal Sanctuary of Utah and had a long interest in Egyptian and Middle Eastern history and culture. Janice was happiest walking on a beach or watching a movie with her family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter, Nicole J. Lattuca of San Francisco; one son, John M. Lattuca of Natick; one brother, James W. Parker and his wife, Catherine, of Bow, N.H.; two nieces, Kristin Parker and Elissa Parker, both of Bow, N.H.; and her mother-in-law, Italia Lattuca of Natick. She was also the sister of the late Michael J. Parker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Monday, April 7, at 10 a.m., at St. Patricks Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visiting hours at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, are today, from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Angels Rest Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Kanab, UT 84741
