Joan McInerney Obituary

Joan S. (Marshall) McInerney, 74, of Framingham, died peacefully, Tuesday April 12, 2016, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Michael N. McInerney for the past 51 years. Born in Waltham, Joan was daughter of the late Kenneth & Bertha (Steele) Marshall. Joan was a 1959 graduate of Waltham High School, and a resident of Framingham since 1968. She was a Secretary for Waters Manufacturing Company in Sudbury, and volunteered at the Memorial School in Framingham. Besides her husband, Joan is survived by two sons, Kenneth McInerney & his wife Kristin of Ashburn, VA, and Kevin McInerney & his wife Jennifer of Marshfield, six grandchildren, Kathryn, Erin, Kathleen, Megan, Sean, & Jillian, one nephew, Jonathan Steele, and was sister of the late Dorothy Steele. Visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., FRAMINGHAM, on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4-7pm. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday morning, April 16, 2016 at 9 oclock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Joans name to: Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
