Joshua J. Hetel

Joshua Joseph Hetel, 30, of Groveland passed away unexpectedly September 29th, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Haverhill on Aug. 20, 1983, and was a graduate of Keefe Vo-Tech High School in Framingham, MA. At the age of 17, Joshua enlisted in the U.S. Army serving for over 12 years and was honorably discharged at the age of 29. He did two tours overseas in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. Joshua was employed as a corrections officer at the Federal Medical Center at Ft. Devens. Joshua is survived by his mother Jayne R. Gore of Groveland, his fiance Alyssa Masucci, sisters Alexis A. and her husband Eddie Revas of Bradford and Janel J. Hetel of Haverhill, his brother Andrew J. Clark of Groveland, step father John P. Clark of Framingham, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday Oct. 5th at 10:00 at St. John the Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Ave. Haverhill. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Groveland. Calling hours will be Friday, Oct. 4th from 4-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill.
