Matthew J. Rizzelli

Matthew J. Rizzelli, 46, of Marlborough, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at home, after being stricken ill. He leaves his mother, Libera (Tommasone) Rizzelli, of Marlborough; two brothers, John M. Rizzelli of Northborough, and Vincent A. Rizzelli of Marlborough; and a sister, Maria A. Rizzelli of Marlborough. He also leaves two nieces, Vanessa L. Rizzelli of Northborough, and Maria Ney Rizzelli of Marlborough; and his faithful two companions, Wiskers and Mittens. He was born in Marlborough, son of Libera and the late Michael Rizzelli, and had lived in Marlborough all of his life. He was a 1983 graduate of Marlborough High School. He was the owner and operator of MetroWest Paint Ball and Darts Supply Co. of Marlborough for the past several years. He was a member of the Marlborough Moose and was an avid dart player. He enjoyed watching the Patriots, Celtics and the Red Sox. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m., at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Marlborough. Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
