Murray Levenson

MILLIS Murray J. Levenson,a longtime resident of Millis,died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008,at the Riverbend Nursing Home in South Natick. He was 72 years old. Born in Dover, N.H., Mr. Levenson grew up in Framingham.He served in the United States Navy. He worked for the Honeywell Corporation before working as a radiographer for the Arnold Green Testing Labs. More recently, Mr. Levenson served as the quality assurance manager for DISTRIGAS Corporation, the company that manages the Marine Liquid Natural Gas terminal in Everett. He was formerly a member of the American Legion, the Elks and of Temple Ael Chunon of Millis. Mr. Levenson was a member of ASM International, The Materials Information Society. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Martel) Levenson and his daughter, Ann Levenson of Northborough. He was the brother of Beverly Miller of Florida, Rosalyn Willis of Florida, and the late Warren Levenson, Gerald Levenson and Neal Levenson. Graveside funeral services under the direction of Levine Chapels of Brookline will take place at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis, Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. A memorial observance will be held at his late residence on Wednesday following the service, and Thursday, Nov. 13, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J.
