Patricia Burke Obituary

ASHLAND Patricia F. Burke, 84 of Ashland and formerly of Natick died Saturday June 13 2009 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham .She was the wife of the late Francis M Burke MD who died in 1978. A resident of Ashland for the past 23 years she was born in Boston the daughter of the late Leo and Katherine (Henahan) Duffy. Mrs. Burke graduated from the Carney Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for 25 years. She was the School Nurse for the Town of Natick for 15 years at the Brown and Kennedy Schools. Mrs. Burke was an avid Boston sports fan, enjoyed gardening, trips to Cape Cod and Maine and visiting with friends. She is survived by two sons Francis Burke and his wife Debra of Walpole, Brian Burke of Ashland, three daughters Maureen Webb and her husband James of Natick, Kathleen Burke of Harvard, Patricia Burke of St Paul MN, Jean Marie Campbell and her husband Brian of Richmond VT, 8grandchildren, Daniel and Dana Webb, Melissa ,Kelly and Stephen Burke, Lucas and Ben Campbell, and Michael Hulit. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. Burial will follow in St Patricks Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Framingham Heart Study 73 Mount Wayte Ave Framingham MA 01702
