SEAMAN, Ohio — Billie W. Abdon, age 72, of Otway, OH formerly of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, at Hospice of Hope in Seaman, OH. He was born in Troy, OH on May 28, 1942 to the late Glenn and Thelma (Bentley) Abdon.
In addition to Karol, his wife of eleven years, Billie is survived by three daughters: Lisa (Danny) Garrett of Cape Coral, FL, Teresa (Matt) Garrett of Ashley, OH and Michelle Abdon of Troy, OH; one stepdaughter: Jennifer Lynne Stewart of St. Augustine, FL; two brothers: Roger (Carolyn) Abdon of TX and Charlie (Yvonne) Abdon of TN; one sister: Betty Martin of Troy; nine grandchildren, one step grandchild, twelve great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Billie was preceded in death in 2000 by his first wife: Molus "Mo" (Morgan) Abdon.
Billie worked as a machine repairman at Delphi in Dayton for 24 years before retiring.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 4 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 11:00am–1:00pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
