TROY - Bruce E. Davidson, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on December 26, 2023, at StoryPoint of Troy.
He was born on November 6, 1936, in Troy to the late Edwin E. and Clara (Macy) Davidson.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years of marriage: Carol (Chase) Davidson; son: Brent Davidson of Troy; daughters and sons-in-law: Jill and Dale Delcamp of Pleasant Hill and Jodi and Jason Egbert of Troy; grandchildren: Brookelen (Joel) Resides of Pleasant Hill, Brandon Delcamp of Troy, Bryan Delcamp of Pleasant Hill and Chase Egbert of Troy; great grandchildren: Rylie Resides and Carson Resides; sister: Shirley Brownewell of Maine; brother-in-law: William Chase of Marysville and nieces and nephews.
Bruce was a 1954 graduate of Troy High School. He was a retired civil engineer with Woolpert. He was a lifetime member of the First United Church of Christ in Troy. He was a former member of the Troy Jaycees, Troy Elks and Troy Hayner Board for many years. He was an avid golfer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the First United Church of Christ, Troy with Pastor Lauren Allen officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home. Private interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
Only Eternity will fully reveal how wise our choice was to follow Jesus.
