TROY - Dennis L. Morris, age 81, of Troy, OH passed away on September 15, 2025, following a short illness at Hospice of Miami County. He was born on March 11, 1944, in Troy, OH to the late O. Dale Morris and Helen M. (Smock) Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Linda K. (Stuchell) Morris; step-father: John W. Cooper and step-sister Paula Coleman.
Dennis is survived by four children: Leslie D. (Ronald) Cooper of Piqua; Jason E. (Jennifer) Morris of Tipp City; Raymond D. (Amanda) Stuchell of Troy and Nathan D. (Brittani) Stuchell of Troy; sister: Linda Cooper of Indian Lake; ten grandchildren: Thomas (Cami) Morris, Patrick Cooper, Paige Stuchell, Sophia Stuchell, Jalin Cooper, Brianna Morris, Piper Stuchell, Alexander Stuchell, Lilyanna Stuchell and Daniel Stuchell and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis graduated from Troy High School in 1962. He attended Victory Church. He was retired from General Motors following a career of more than 30 years with the company. He loved to paint landscapes and support his grandchildren by attending their sporting events.
Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Condolences may be expressed to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
