George Broaddrick Obituary
SIDNEY -- George Wayne Broaddrick, age 78 of Sidney, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at 6:02 AM at his home. He was born on January 2, 1944 in Russellville, Alabama, the son of the late George and Ruby (Thomas) Broaddrick. On January 26, 1963 he married Patricia "Patty" (Kuch) who preceded him in death November 17, 2017.
Wayne is survived by three children; Tammy (Frank) EnYart of Sidney, Steven (Amy) Broaddrick of Lexington, KY, and Daniel (Tina) Broaddrick of Mainville, OH, four siblings; Doris (Don) Swigart, Donald Broaddrick, Kathy (Keith) Korn, and Brett (Lucy) Broaddrick, eight grandchildren; Lucas (Lott) Broaddrick, Cheyenne (Mason) McCray, Alyxandra and Nikolas Carson, Ashley, Lindsay, Seth, and Lydia Broaddrick, and great-grandchild, August McCray. He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Mr. Broaddrick retired as an independent contractor for Maumee Valley Tool & Die as an industrial tool salesman. He was a member of Sidney First Church of the Nazarene and formerly attended Grace United Methodist Church in Piqua.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Sidney First Church of the Nazarene, 1899 Wapakoneta Ave. with Rev. Chad Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Memorials to honor Wayne may be made to Sidney First Church of the Nazarene, 1899 Wapakoneta Ave. Sidney, OH 45365. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
