He would frequent the Fisherman Headquarters in Dayton to drink coffee and catch up with friends. Gus liked watching OSU football during the Woody Hayes Era, a fan of Duke Basketball, and made many trips to the Indianapolis 500. He loved watching his grandsons play sports. Gus was not a big traveler but would make a yearly visit to Las Vegas to visit his daughter Kelly and her family at Christmas time. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.

RIP Gus! You were a favorite of mine on the mail route. So sweet and gentle spirited. I loved all the fishing lures you made and our chats. Prayers of comfort for Nancy and family
