So sorry for your loss. I remember all the fun times we had going to Florida during spring break and Canada in August. I can still remember Grandma Thiedeman teaching me to play 21 and bringing my pennies and nickels over when we got together.

I believe I only met Mr. Thiedeman once during the Troy Ohio Jaycee/community service days of Tip and Mary. I recall a beautiful man, wife, and gracious home. Knowing what a wonderful person Tip is, I know his father was outstanding. The WWII generation was truly "our proudest moment".

I do feel like I know Mr. Thiedeman though, because Tip and Mary have described the delight of him many times. I am glad he enjoyed a long, happy, and relatively healthy, I believe, life in Arizona.

I love the idea of Mr. Thiedeman at Mardi Gras with my favorite family just a couple of years ago. Awesome! My prayers to all the family - Mr. Thiedeman is at peace and watching over all of you.

Sometimes a quiet and unassuming man passes our way once in a lifetime, it was so with Mr T. Who would have known of all his talents and the gift of life to so many he touched from the casual acquaintance, lifetime friends and family!
I will forever be grateful to a man who lived and was a part of the "Greatest Generation" of exceptional givers that has made our life secure.
It was an honor to have MrT. be part of my family and to have embraced many special and quiet moments through the past 45 years.
My prayers and thoughts to each of you .

There are not too many people in this life that you can count on as a friend but if Harold was your friend you could count on him! Jan and I loved him. He was always there when we needed him. I enjoyed playing golf with him the eight years we lived in Sun City. WE had so much fun playing hand and foot with Betty and Harold. I will miss him very much!

I was so sorry to hear Uncle Harold passed. Well, he wasn't really my uncle. I think he was my cousin. I do know he and my Aunt Betty were my godparents - and the best godparents a kid could ask for!.When they lived in Troy they would take me on vacation and invite me to their house over the summer. Just me. They made me feel special.

Uncle Harold lived a long, full, good life. He had the best laugh I've ever heard. My thoughts are with his kids (Mo, Tip and Patty) and their spouses. This is an old picture from some camping trip Uncle Harold, Aunt Betty, Aunt Grace, my mom,my dad, and Patty took...probably others were there, but these are the only ones I have photographic evidence of. That's Harold holding the fish! I think his mom, Aunt Grace, is doing the measuring.

We are fortunate to call Harold our friend. We enjoyed many card games where he was clearly the most practiced. His sense of humor and positive outlook filled the room with joy. He made silver jewelry with such skill and love, and I will forever treasure the results I am proud to wear. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Mr Theideman was a person that once you met him he left a lasting impression. He was a tough competitor when it came to playing the game "Ticket to Ride" and he had a smile that looked innocent enough but behind that calm exterior you knew he was going to kick your butt. He left a lifetime of memories and stories that will continue to help ease the pain. We are so sorry for your loss, he will be missed.
