TROY - Jack A. Dunivan, age 58 of Troy, Ohio, passed away on June 26, 2025. He was born Sept. 3, 1966, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the son of Wilma (Reid) Dunivan of Columbus, IN.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Adrienne (Preston) Dunivan and his former wife Beth (Taynor) Dunivan of Troy, OH, children: Tyler (Taylor) Dunivan of Troy, OH; Leah Dunivan of London, UK & Jonathan (Amy) Preston of Dayton, OH; mother Wilma Dunivan of Columbus, IN; 5 grandchildren: Paislee and Madison Dunivan of Troy, OH, Juniper, Olive & Silas McKee-Preston of Dayton, OH; two sisters: Laura (Gary) Petro of Columbus, IN & Robin (Steve) McCunn of Fletcher, OH and a brother, Duane (Libby) Dunivan of Tipp City, OH. Jack was preceded in death by his father Ed Dunivan.
Jack was a 1988 graduate of University of Dayton with an Industrial Engineering degree and a proud Miami East Viking graduate where he was a member of the football team. Jack loved hunting, fishing, boating and anything outdoors. The bigger the diesel engine for a truck, the better. He loved his Big Dog Pit Bull motorcycle and after a relaxing ride, he enjoyed sitting on a patio with a cold beer.
With all those things, Jack loved the people around him the most. Even when he didn't have the words.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.glicklerfuneralhome.com. Arrangements in care of Glickler Funeral Home.

Last time I saw Jack was at My Dads funeral. He came up to me and he was so happy to see me and I was happy to see him. He made me feel like his long lost buddy and friend. What a sweet guy to make me feel so comfortable. Jack was always ready with a joke and a warm smile. He was a kind wonderful guy. I still can't believe he is gone. The world was a better place with him in it. My thoughts and prayers are with you Wima and Duane and all o f Jacks family.

You taught me to stay away from hot mufflers and to remain humble to Captains of their boats but mostly, you taught me to slow down and enjoy what life has to offer and to live in the moment. You will be missed greatly Uncle Jack. I love you.

I wish to express my condolences to the family! Jack was always such a nice fellow and I enjoyed classes taken with him at M.E. We graduated together in the same class and I will remember his football days - he was a real, good player! Prayers for everyone during this time.
