Jack McGlaughlin Obituary

PIQUA -- Jack McGlaughlin, 60, of Piqua passed away unexpectedly at 1:43 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born October 1, 1961 in Piqua to the late Everett and Shirley (Willcox) McGlaughlin.

Survivors include four children, Cory (Amanda) McGlaughlin of Borden, Indiana, Adam (Kaci) McGlaughlin of Salem, Indiana, Alex (Kayli) Accuntius of Sidney, and Zoey Adams of Delaware; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three siblings, Doug (Diane) McGlaughlin, Barbara Sweeney, and Dorothy "Dot" (Spike) Swabb; also many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Warboys.

Jack was a graduate of Piqua Central High School Class of 1980. He had worked for the Piqua Emery Foundry for 22 years. Jack enjoyed practicing martial arts and taught classes at the YMCA in the past. He loved to go for walks, and go fishing with his best friend, Ghost, and used to roller blade all over town as well. Jack enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids when they were in town, and he will surely be missed.
