James Vore Obituary
PIQUA — James M. Vore, 47, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at his residence. James was born Aug. 14, 1969, in Lima, to Donald and Nancy (Brown) Vore, who preceded him in death.
James had worked for over 25 years in tool and die for American Trim. He was known as a hard worker who would do anything for his friends and family.
James was a devoted father who dearly loved his daughter, Alyssa and son, Brenden.
He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Vore of Ada, son, Brenden Vore of Sidney; former wife, Misty Vore of Ada; two brothers, Mark Vore and Jerry Vore, both of Lima; and many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his pet cat, who meant the world to him.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Leland Vore, and a brother David Vore.
Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral costs.
