FLETCHER — Madeline L. Fanning, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at 1:24 p.m.
She is survived by her seven children, Robert, Thomas, James, Nancy, Susan, John and William; her 26 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Berry Ann; along with numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William J.; her brothers, John and Stanley; and sister, Audrey.
She passed away peacefully in the presence of her children and grandchildren.
Madeline was born on Dec. 5, 1932, to Stanley and Stella Marie (Westwood) Brann.
She was an avid reader and nature lover and spent time volunteering at hospitals and schools.
During the 1970s and 80s, Madeline became intimately involved in the PTA and Right To Life. Formerly of Piqua, Madeline was a loving mother and friend to so many.
A private funeral will be held on Thursday, Dec. 28, at Suber- Shively Funeral Home in Fletcher, Ohio, along with a prayer vigil. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Ohio.
