I wish Mike a speedy trip to heaven. I wish his family strength and faith. This a very sad notice for me. Our families were friends through the years and I knew Mike very well. We were best friends in high school and marched together at graduation. We double dated often. I moved away but when I last saw him at our 60th reunion, it was as if we had always been friends. We had a nice conversation and that is what I will remember along with his high morels, his easy smile, his respect for others, and his solid friendship.
